Stefan Amraly

Stefan Amraly

Mr. Amraly is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Lotus Energy Group. Under his management the Company has built Gas Turbines, Wind Turbines, Integrated energy generation technology and developed major electrical energy projects globally. With over $1.84 billion in projects and 758MW of development in over 6 countries, Mr. Amraly is a seasoned leader with experience in all aspects of energy development.

Previously Mr. Amraly served as Chief Executive Officer of American Dynamics Flight Systems which was responsible for the development of the AD150 VTOL UAV for the U.S. Marine Corps tier 3 program and the U.S. NAVY shipboard UAV program. From 1998 through 2002, Mr. Amraly served as the electronic trading platform development Analyst for Archipelago market, a platform that served to be one of the primary factors that lead to the merger with the New York Stock Exchange.

Mr. Amraly holds patents on Vertical takeoff technology, integrated power generation systems, Smart cycle generation technology , Hull suspension technology, High Torque Aerial Lift, and most recently the highly regarded Global Energy Management (GEM™) production predication and control system.

Mr. Amraly attended College of Aeronautics and Technology for Avionics Engineering  and has a Master of Science in Leadership from the Columbia School of Business.  He is a graduate of the Columbia Advanced Management Program, Columbia School of Business Executive Finance Program, and the esteemed and selective Columbia University Senior Executive Business Program.

 

Mr. Mark Cramer-Roberts

Investment Director

Mr. Mark Cramer-Roberts co-founded Australia’s first commercial Internet service provider, establishing the industry in Australia.  The company was acquired by a listed Australian company and later again to NTT Japan.  Mark then spent 12 months in the USA as the Executive Vice President of the then publicly traded business.  In this capacity, he grew the corporate client base and won customers such as the Sears Tower in Chicago and The Chrysler Building in New York.  This was followed by successful business development in Singapore and Hong Kong.   He was a founding investor in one of the first wireless development companies in Australia, which provided corporate SMS services and developed the wireless cradle for the Palm 5 in the USA, Australia, and Asia.  Mark has successfully invested in or advised several new technology businesses operating in the United States, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Timor-Leste, and the Middle East.  

 

Michael Amideo

Executive Director of Finance

Mr. Amideo is the Executive Director of Finance for Lotus Energy Group and all its multi-national entities. His experience with both national and multi-national corporations provides him with extensive expertise in management, accounting, and finance.

Mr. Amideo most recently served as Director of Finance for PBT Brands, Inc., a holding company for various specialty chemical adhesive and sealant manufacturing investments held by The Jordan Company LP, a private equity fund. In addition, he served as Chief Financial Officer of its aerospace specialty sealant division, Advanced Chemicals and Technologies, Inc.   Mr. Amideo has served as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance for various public and non-public entities responsible for capital raising initiatives including initial public offerings.

Mr. Amideo is a founder and Managing Director at Capital Strategy Group, boutique financial and multi-state tax advisory firm serving the retail industry. 

Mr. Amideo began his career as Certified Public Accountant for Arthur Andersen, LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. Michael performed attestation and advisory services for several national and international public corporations. Michael is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Michael holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from the University of Florida.

 

Valerie Williams

Sr. Financial and Global Tax Advisor

Valerie Spent 17 years working for Ernst & Young LLP.  Valerie was a senior manager in the New York Transaction Tax practice, where she was responsible for managing tax due diligence engagements for buy side transactions including identifying potential tax exposures of target companies and effectively conveying complex tax issues to private equity clients, including assistance with modeling general post acquisition structuring, audit history review, and other tax issues.   While in the NY office, Valerie also held the Global Learning Tax Manager position for two years, providing oversight of EY’s global initiative to create a uniform and consistent education program for the global transaction tax group.  Valerie helped develop several global education programs and also assisted in teaching these courses throughout Europe and reported directly to the Global Transaction Tax Leader of EY.  Valerie is a CPA, and also has a Master’s in Accounting and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama. 

 

Heidi Ferren

Director of Operations UK

Ms. Ferren is Director of Operations Lotus Energy UK limited.  Her wide range of experience and expertise allowed Lotus to establish it’s UK presence and develop advanced energy solutions for the E.U. market.

Previously Ms. Ferren assisted the former Executive Director of the NYCDCC Benefit Funds, while simultaneously consulting on the merger of the NYCDCC Legal and Audit Departments into its current highly functional state. Ms. Ferren had a key role in the customer service re-structuring at Highgate Hotels, bringing the group’s approval ratings up from 20% to 90; A role she echoed in her work with John Q. Hammond’s Properties where she was recognized for her management of numerous major events and projects carried out as a Business Manager.  Ms. Ferren served as the longest running title holder for the USO.  She has been an ambassador and spokesperson for the multi-national non-profit organization for 6 years; appearing and speaking in over 800 venues, as well as, actively generating and participating in fundraising and service initiatives for service members and their families.   She was instrumental in re-establishing the non-profit’s image and expanding their donor base through public relations and communications based initiatives that impacted the organization as a whole. 

Ms. Ferren received her M.F.A. from the University of Delaware with Highest Honors and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she received her B.F.A.  Ms. Ferren was also awarded a scholarship and directed study at University College, Oxford, where she studied English Literature and Politics.  She is a lifetime member of Mortar Board, the Golden Key Honor Society, the prestigious Hyer Honor Society, and Who’s Who Worldwide.
